Photos in a Few

We've had an exciting weekend...and only crazier times for the rest of the month!

We spent Friday on Manhattan, then came back to meet some neighbors and hand out candy to about 100 (on the low end) trick or treaters! We always seem to have more than most areas as we are right on an Avenue with lots of businesses that hand out treats. We, in fact, got about 7 pieces of candy that night between our walk home, people on the subway, and from neighbors that just couldn't resist the cow!

Q's cough and congestion she's had the past few weeks has developed into a runny nose...almost non-stop. So, we're STILL not sleeping through the night. And I think tooth #9 is coming to join us, so that would mean a little runny nose too. Overall, she's really in pretty good spirits.

Month 11 has brought:
She holds her own bottle/cup now...most of the time.
Her first cold.
She's more daring than ever...especially when Daddy's around (as she's sure he'll catch her!).
An appetite that is variable as the wind....some days I can't feed her enough (we ate practically all day yesterday!).
And ONE nap...yes, it's coming upon me. From sleeping most of the day just a year ago to about a 1-2 hour nap each afternoon around lunch time or dinner time. Yesterday it was from about 4-6pm...and she went to bed about 8...to be up screaming at 9 but went to sleep easily..then back up and watching a movie with us at 10ish...then back down again about 11. Then I think she was just up at 4 and then 8...She was so runny and congested, it's been tough for us all.

Now she's watching out the front door as Dada goes to work. She's gotten to see him for 3 days now, we'll see how she does today!

Grandma Judy comes into town with Peggy TOMORROW already!

So, photos of our kiddo as a cow and of her new favorite hangout spot to come later!!
