NYC Again

Yesterday
CST
3am Quinn is crying for food
3:25am Washed face, into clothes, packed car
4:15am leave for airport with Dad/Grandpa R
5:05am arrive airport
5:20am standing in security line
5:40am name gets called for standby list--I MADE THE FLIGHT! Yay!! (it was going to be a sad sad day if I was awake at 3am to sit in an airport for the next flight to Phillie...)
EST
9:05am arrive in Phillie for a 2 1/2 hour layover. Realize first flight to LGA in NYC is bumped back 35 minutes and realize the flight I was on standby for would probably be late too.

9:20am change and dress Quinn (she's still in her PJs)
9:50am BREAKFAST! COFFEE and a bagel for THREE DOLLARS!!!! I was amazed at the price as it's airport food!
10:15am Chillin' on the floor with Quinn at gate F11 waiting for our names to be called again for the 11:55am departure to LGA.
Took cute photo

11:25am We're booked for the flight!
11:26am Flight to LGA is delayed...but they let us chill at F11 until they have the "okay" to take off to land at LGA instead of waiting on the super tiny plane!

12:10pm We get the okay to take off...in the air about 12:30pm
1:10pm Land at LGA (scary as heck as it's an airport on the water...really, it's not a good view from the window to land on water!)

So, Mike made it to the airport about the same time we did, Quinn was still sleeping (from the moment that sleeping on the floor in the airport photo was taken). She woke up when he came close, gave Mike some big smiles, and was happy to see our car in the parking lot! She sang to herself for awhile and we headed to Target. About half way there I realized she hadn't been changed or fed since 9am and it was almost 3pm!!!! She was remarkably calm and content for this to be the situation...she was really happy to be home! So I fed and changed Quinn while Mike shopped, we headed to Mezcal's for lunch/dinner. Got home to feed Quinn again and take a nap with her...from about 5:30-8! Quinn slept till almost 10:30 to fall asleep for bed right away.

Today, we're up playing with all our toys that we've missed! The Pooh on this chair can be screwed into the play tray, but we hadn't done it yet as we figured, "why?". Well, this morning, Pooh got tossed out of the tray and across the living room! Guess we'll need to screw in Pooh. :)

Thanks again to everyone who provided us with food, lodging, and company this week. We were VERY happy to be back in the Midwest, but there's no place like your own place! It's been very nice to be "home" again too. We'll see when Quinn develops her routine again!! :)

Love you all!!

OMG she looks like Mike in this pic! At a quick glance, I honestly thought it was a picture of him! Happy Mother's Day, KT!
