Minnesota

We've had a busy couple days, so we've been away from "blogland" for awhile! Quinn can apparently still crash out anywhere while playing. Nikki spoiled her with many of Claire's old toys.


Quinn and I landed in Minneapolis on Wednesday afternoon and got to ride in style in Nikki's new vehicle as her and Claire came to get us at the airport. Claire was wonderful with sharing all the toys she has "grown out of" and even gave her some attention.



One of Quinn's favorite's was a Care Bear chair. And Quinn absolutely loved seeing Rex and Riley (the Kachelmeyer cats) and Rex even let him pet her!

We had a great day on Thursday visiting in Farmington, going to a garage sale, eating dinner with some friends, and then met a ton of other friends in St. Louis Park for drinks. I was worried to take Quinn out to the bar, but she slept the entire time sleeping in her car seat and everyone there was excited to get to meet her.

We spent today visiting Mike's Minneapolis Wyatt office, a quick lunch with some "frisbee friends" and head to Mankato to visit with the family Quinn has not yet met.

Now it's Friday evening and we arrived and Grandma and Grandpa Born's in Eagle Lake. They had toys from a neighbor to borrow, so Quinn's enjoying more stimulation.

Not only are we going to go home to where there are fewer new toys, but it will be back to quiet days of seeing "just Mom" and a few others we see on a weekly or monthly basis.

We have enjoyed our days here so far and it has been wonderful. Thanks to everyone who has helped us and visited with us the past few days!
