Well, it never rained Saturday and we should've gone to that game as it was 70 and wonderful that day. AND the Brewers got 3 HR off Santana!!HOWEVER, they presented last season's golden gloves at the beginning of the game, so I got to witness Santana getting his from his Twin's season...wearing his Mets jersey! It happened too fast (and Quinn was screaming and Mike was getting snacks) so I didn't get a photo, but it was a sight to see.
SO, we went to Sunday's game--low 50's, cloudy, and windy. Not as much fun as sunny and 70, but it was still a sight to see. It's Shea stadium's last year, here's a photo of the Citi Field - to - be practically being built on top of Shea...
The game started off well....with a man on base...and a HR for the Brewers! YAY!!
Game proceeded to tie at 6's...which is when we left because Quinn WAS NOT enjoying herself. However, as we left, the Brewers got a HR and another run to be up 8-6 by the time we got to the car. The sudden bursts of applause, music, and boo's were not so pleasing to her. She wouldn't eat or sleep and cried almost the whole time. We managed to get a few cute shots...
We got home in time to watch the end of the 8th and 9th innings...yay Brewers won 2 out of 3 this weekend!! WOO HOO!! But this pretty much tells us that we won't be attending any hockey games with her anytime soon!!
